New City Kids

New City Kids serves babies through 5th grade during our 9:00 and 11:00 Worship Gatherings. Whether your family is visiting for the first time or looking for a church home, we would love to welcome you and help your child feel comfortable.

Sunday Morning Schedule

New City Kids classrooms are available for Nursery through 5th Grade during both our 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM Worship Gatherings

Family Worship Sundays
On the third and fifth Sundays, Kindergarten through 5th Grade join their families in the Worship Gathering.  We love these Sundays because they give our children and adults the opportunity to worship together as one church family. Nursery and preschool classrooms are still available.

What to Expect

When you arrive, let one of our greeters know you’re visiting New City Kids. They’ll be glad to walk you to the check-in area, introduce you to a team member, and help your family get settled.

At check-in, your child will receive a name tag, and you will receive a matching security label for pickup. Our team will help you find the right classroom and answer any questions along the way.

During New City Kids, your child will be cared for by trained volunteers and leaders who help children play, learn, worship, and hear about Jesus in age-appropriate ways.

After the Worship Gathering, you’ll return to your child’s classroom, show your matching pickup label, and reconnect with your child.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register ahead of time?
No, you are welcome to visit without registering. However, filling out our Plan Your Visit form can help us prepare for your family and make check-in easier when you arrive.
What ages does New City Kids serve?
New City Kids serves babies through 5th grade during our Sunday morning Worship Gatherings.
What happens at check-in?
A team member will help you check in your child, print a name tag, and give you a matching security label. For your child’s safety, you’ll use that matching label when you pick them up.
Can my child stay with me in the Worship Gathering?
Yes. Children are always welcome in the Worship Gathering. We offer New City Kids because we want children to have a safe, age-appropriate place to learn and grow, but we are glad to have families worship together too.
What if my child is nervous, has allergies, or has special needs?
We would love to know how we can help your child feel safe and cared for. You can share allergies or important notes during check-in, speak with a New City Kids leader, or reach out before Sunday. New City also offers Welcoming Spaces for children and families who may benefit from additional support.
What should my child bring or wear?
Children do not need to bring anything special. Comfortable clothes are best since children may play, move, sit on the floor, color, or participate in classroom activities.
What is your well child policy?
For the protection of our children, families, volunteers, and teachers, please keep your child home if they are sick or showing symptoms of illness. You can review our full well child policy here
How do you keep children safe?
New City Kids uses secure check-in, matching pickup labels, trained volunteers, and support from our Security Team to help keep children safe while they play, learn, and worship.

Here's where we can place the Plan Your Visit form.

Based on common website best practices, Plan Your Visit forms are usually most effective when they are short and easy to complete. Fewer fields (esp. required fields) can help encourage more first-time visitors to submit the form.

Let’s discuss which questions should be included and whether this form should connect to a workflow for notifications and follow-up.
